American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt the actress was Willa McPherson as reporter. She also played the role of an assistant in the show that ran for a short time, The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices of a variety of characters on the comedy show Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she's appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe as a character in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and she relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year , before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue an acting career.
